I left it in there. The XE I have has one. Do I have to take it with me to put into the Corsa? What happens about Blanking it off?
Edit: Shonky Title sorted

If you don't want to use it, remove the sandwich plate from the filter area, then use the filter as normal.
If you can get it, you might as well use it though.

Sorry guys, I may have typed that one with my eyes shut! I mean the oil cooler!
There is one left in the Calibra at the moment, sort of hanging there. Im not too fussed about using it in the Corsa! I have two tubes sticking out near the oil filter though, Don't know what to do with those....

If you're not using it, remove the pipes and the plate they join to.
I would advise using it though, as you have it

You take it off and replace the oil filter stud if you don't want it, otherwise you bodge it in somewhere. I took mine off as it was a popular descision at the time, but I might buy a new one and fit it somewhere properly as I still have the sandwich plate somewhere.

OK, I'll take it off the calibra at the weekend and have a gander. Should be fun trying to mount that lol.
How do they work then? Will stone cold oil be recirculating into my engine?
