I'd say go for the LCR but then I'm biased

I had a Astra Convertible before owning the LCR and it was a nice car, looked good and was great to have the roof down in the summer. It was just so boring to drive, may of been because it was only the 1.8 version but the LCR is so much fun to drive. Still puts a big grin on my face, even after owning it for nearly a year now!

As for the Astra GSi, I've never driven one so can't compare that to the LCR. The Astra does look good though but after owning a Corsa and an Astra I wanted to move away from Vauxhall.

Tough decision between the 2 but I vote for the LCR
