Me and my Mrs wanna go away for the summer but not sure where, she wants a beach holiday which is fine but i dont wanna lie on a beach for two weeks i wanna do other stuff, not bothered about bars and clubs, wanna take in some culture. Any ideas

me and my G/F just booked to feteiy (Sp) in turkey, its a small island with all ruins and temples an stuff, and a beach for the mrs

my parents went to fethiye sp in summer last year and they loved it apprently the sun sets are amazing there.

I went to spain last summer with mates and we hired a car for 10 days. Cost us 150 for the car which was a Leon Tdi and we went to barcelona (very big city not much culture) , valencia (lovely place lovely buildings reminded me of rome) ,alicante (same as barca) and benidorm (chavtastic ) as it was the only place you could hire quads and there is a water park. and every city has a beach.

That sounds awesome, Anymore info on the place? me and the GF are looking to go away early march. We were thinking Barcelona but that place sounds better!
