Me and my GF are planning on heading to Spain for a week at the beginning of March or maybe May (its our anniversary anyhow so she remembers )

Just wondering if anyone has been and recommends any areas in particular?
Im looking at Barcelona as its nice and touristy with a fair amount to see and do? I dont wanna just laze on the beach all the time but having a beach nearby wouldn't be a bad thing for a day!

So basicly looking for peoples ideas and suggestions

Side note: How old do I have to be to rent a car over in Spain? 18? im 20.

Dont think you can rent a car mate but you CAN get a moped

Barca is nice, make sure you treat her to a tour round the nou camp
