Why are they so dam hard to take off. I was trying to take the front bumper off. I have most of the screw off. All the top ones, one from one arch and 3 from the bottom. There are still two more to come off from the button. There in the stupidest position ever.
I use a screwdriver with a 8mm attachment onto it. I can't get into the scerew beacsue there are things in the way. Sigh. Now it's started poring with rain.
I'll have another go when it stops.

While this thread is still here, trying to remove my back bumper, i have jacked the car up on boths sides twice... but the car fell of them twice. So i'm abviously putting them on the wring place.
At the fron there are little squares where i put the jacks, but what about the back ?

I don't have axle stands, this "___/\___" Shape on the sill, silly question but what is the sill ? Is that thin strip that runs along underneith the door ? On the very outside on the car.
I'm using to different gacks, one is a scissor jack and the other one is a evern worse one.

Under your doors yes, there is a thin black metal strip which runs the length of the car. There should be a ___/\___ at the front and one at the back of this.

That looks like it mate, although the pic isnt that clear. If you fit the V bit of the jack into the V bit of the sill, it should be relatively 'safe' just for removeing wheels and the like, but dont get under the car with it just on those jacks.

Yestarday i had the front jacked up fine, i jacked it up in a different place though.
For the back bumper there is a nut which holds the arche and the bumper together, i need to remove the wheel to get in there, befcause my screwdriver wont fit

Arrgh, out in the rain trying to get this rear bumper off. I have all the bottoms screws off, all the tops ones, and one from each arch. It's not coming off though. It seems as if something in the arch is still holding it on.
Any ideas ?

I would personally buy yourself this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Corsa-Haynes-Manual-March-1993-97-K-R-Reg_W0QQitemZ140074478714QQihZ004QQcategoryZ18424QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
and some axel stands, like said before not great relying on the jack if you are working on the car, not old corsa jack was far from great
