316 is just horrid. Stick with the Fiesta until you can insure one with a proper engine (330/M3).

The ZetecS badge which is on EVERY Zetec engine was probably going to his head - either that or it was a 1.4 engine in it and he didn't know

A 1.4 is a different story, it could possible match a VTR.

Yeah theres a 1.4 16v Zetec S 88bhp

With full exhaust and Induction kit like your m8s fiesta it would match a VTR.

The Bavarian may be under powered and slow, but the Fiesta is no rocket ship, and I know which one i'd rather be hit by a dirt lorry in.

It also happens to be the same one i'd prefer to do a long run in or be seen in by any member of the opposite sex.

i can solve this.

the person who brough up the top gear gti story should of explained better.

they had a vts, corsa 1.8 sri and a fiesta zetec s.

the zetec s beat the other two over a few tests like drivability, practicality ect. not in a full on race. it was the car that also gave the driver the biggest grin coz it was exciting according to the bloke on the program

1.6 vs 1.8 sri vs VTS
