I got a set of some Astra GTE wheels cheap, however one has abit of damage. I am going to refurb them my self. Black with a polished lip, but the rim is dented. I was thinking of heating it up, and tapping it, to try and straighten it up? Will this work, if not, what other ways should i try?

Looks like scrap metal that one

I guess you could heat it up, bang it out and put it on the back!

That looks like scrap to me too, it will probably have bent the lip that grips the tyre wall too.

Maybe take it to a wheel re-furber and ask them if its repairable?
