Google doesn't look in threads though for reasons best known to itself.

It will return quicker for sure, and perhaps we'll bargain in some additional accuracy. Its not got the best feedback ever for being useful for finding specific posts.

Ironically the bit that is slowing it down is specific things like constraining by username or date. The relevance thing that people say it crap is actually lightning fast, you just don't notice that if you also search on other stuff.

We'll sort something anyway.
