Not had car long and noticed it was out of oil so changed it begining of december checked it yesterday and it down to bottom mark . Theres no leaks but noticed bit of blue smoke when you first start it so asume its burning it . Is there any way i can find out whats worn as dont want to rebuild whole engine if i have to. Its a sport x16xe engine 82000 miles. Cheers for any help. Forgot to say did a compression test and they all were around 12 bar (in the green area of the guage)

Sounds like steam seals to me too.
Oil drains in past the seals whilst the engine is off and seeps into the cylinders, so when you start the engine it burns the oil thats drained in out the head and gives blue smoke.
