Ive noticed that a fair feqw people who sell there corsa's buy an astra as there next car. some people buy a gsi and some buy a coupe. I was wondering what makes people decide whch one to have out of the pair ?
looks/power/size of car etc.

but would it differ if you had the choice of a astra 888 ? the older one ( mk4 shape ) or would you still have a gsi ?

Before I bought my Astra coupe the decision was between a 2.2 SRI with the prodrive bodykit or a 1.8 SE2 coupe.
I chose the coupe due to the shape and the fact that there's not a lot of difference performance wise between the 2.
Also the interior of the coupes tend to be better than the sri although the gsi interior is smart.
Coupe turbos can be found alot cheaper than turbo hatch’s mainly because they are older (X Reg 2000), where as sri's turbos were made in 2002 and gsi's were only made from around 2003.
I've recently lowered my coupe on Eibach shocks and springs and its transformed the handling without sacrificing the quality of the ride

Purely on bodystyle. Dont like the coupe, so bought a 3dr hatch.
Had 2 of them now. Thats enough for me.
