What would you class as acceptable mileage for a 1.6 Sport?

All depends... I dont let mileage put me off cars as long as there in good condition.. An engine thats done 40k could be a lot more worn than an engine on 80k depending on what type of journeys etc..

60-65k would be reasonable with serivce done regularly and all that need changing at required mileage

End of the day a 99 plate car isn't that new. If you think its about 6 and a bit years old (approx), so with about 12k a year that should be around 72k on the clock. I'd rather buy one with that mileage than one with 30-40k.

I'd expect average mileage Robin. I'd also expect mileage either side of that.

looks the same as this, its even got a vauxhall cd player in it still its mint, i no antmashed went to see it but he couldnt afford 2000 insurance, he might no more, i will u2u him the thread
