hi everyone, just wondering how do u repair cracked B-pillars as mines starting to rust

clean the metal up and weld the crack up is the best way to fix it then grind it back fill it and repaint it

cheers mate! any kind of filler needed or will any do? Also got to do this on the tailgate theres a spot of rust there. is this same process?

the crakes on the B-pillars normaly indicate that the cars had a rear end shunt at some point

really it is a pre facelift tho? (early 97) i thought the b-pillars cracked on these quite often?

Thats a waste of time.

They need to be welded back together.

yeah am sure there was a recall on these years ago cause mines went it to get fixed under waranty the car was 4 year old, am sure they fixed it the old way with lead joints

Yea, nothing to do with crashing. Most the pre facelift ones a prone to doing it.

yeah ed u mean weld the 2 skinds together is the best way to fix it...
