right, after stressing my head off about being ripped off 50 quid (which while being unemployed and jobhunting, and trying to run the arsing car on last resorts is pretty bad) by IMPACT CAR REPAIRS in harrogate i need to find someone on here, or if anyone knows of anyone who could roll/flare my arches for me to stop them rubbing for a smaller price.

all the garage did was fill up the gap between the plastic bumper and the metal shell on the inside of the arch with some plastic filler stuff and smooth the metal lips.

my other last resort is to get me mate to angle grind the inside away and then clip on the plastic arches, but i dont want a chewed car if i sell it

have no smaller wheels - no money for 195/40 tyres either insteda 45's.

looks like we're gna angle grind about 1-2cm away from themetal inner arch so my plastic ones are stil on ok.

shudnt rub after that?

yeh get some cheap 13'' bangers on for the minute, if you have money problems the last thing you should be doing is worrying about arches.
