Normal hours a week should be whatever 9-5 with 1 hours lunch is.
I tend to get in between 9.15 and 9.45 , have an hour for lunch and leave between 4-4.45
Although I travel usually once a week so if I go to london I make so many hours flex and that's how I keep my flex time in + with not doing proper hours the other days
The amount of work is very dependant on how motivated I feel, how good or bad the work is and how close the deadline is.
3 hours per day is about average the rest posting on here or talking to colleagues

When I used to work in a supermarket it would be 9-6. That would be a solid 7.5 hours hard labour No stopping as the management set unrealistic goals about what one person can do. The section manager would work something stupid like 60 hours a week to get stuff done. None of these jobs were that well paid either...

I'm on 8 quid p/h but only contracted for 26 hours a week! You can do overtime to make up your hours but that seems to have dried up since Christmas!

Is a tiring job! I don't do all night though, only until 11:30 - But it is hard work. I enjoy it though, i'd rather do that than my office Job.
my place is ridiculos have to make sure every member of staff is putting out X many cases per hour, sometimes the targets are that high even I cant hit them and iv been doint this sort of thing for the last 7 years and im quite fit.
When the big man walks in at 7am and you have left work as you were under capacity you are made to feel like you have pissed on there cornflakes!!
Take it you work for Tesco or something then
