how much do you think i would be able to pick one up for. prefereably 2001 plate onwards.

what they like for reliability, driving,

and performance wise how quick are they 0-60 and top speed and can they be modded easy with a tuning box. and what would the outcome of having one fitted

make sure you buy a TDI 130 then you can remap it to 197BHP and about 300lb/ft of torque correct me if im wrong not sure on performace then but i no it will be good

why has it got to be the 130, is that the only one that can be remapped.

i thought you bought those tuning boxes you just plug in.

anyone else know anything

they can all be remapped, but the ones with more power to begin with have more power after the remap.

parkers.co.uk id your best bet for performance figures, if you go to reviews, click on VW (in the top 5) and then golf, and look at the technical data.

any idea on prices , what they start from at all, and actually it i supose it doesent have to be 2001 onwards i supose. but it would be nice to have something a bit new
