i would go for it as it will weigh less than a standard one. Might be a bastard to fit though.

yeh what i thought, it appears to have the fibreglass skin mounted ontop of an original bonnet so fitting might be ok?
should probably ask them.

iv seen the F50 vents all wrap when the engine gets hot, so dont know what these will be like???

yeh, id immagen the fibreglass warping big time if the engine is running hot. I'll check what kind of gurantee comes with them

here is what they say:
hi nick i will try to put your mind at ease, fibreglass is prone to warping under excess heat but unless its direct heat in excess of 200 degrees such as a heat gun held 5 cm from the bonnet for around 10 minutes, you will have no problems.
the bonnet will fit on all original fixing points hinges safty catch and bonnet lock, i fitted one of our bonnets three years ago and still see the car today and it still looks as good today as the day i fitted it i would be glad to offer you a personal garrentee against all manufacturing defects such as cracking warping etc as i know that the products we sell are the best anywhere hope this helps neil
