erm, well i have a scorpian stainless system on my motorvehicle. (supposidly lifetime warrenty)
but!.. the baffles in the backbox have gone

so i phone the supplier [proven products] and they said the only thing i can do is buy a new one for £150+vat, then send mine back for analysis .. and they may credit me the money back

so i thought thats absalute balls, so i phoned the uk scorpian dealer MOTEC.. and they said i shouldnt have to pay, but they cant deal direct to me, i have to go through my supplier...

any ideas??

I would inform Motec that one of their offical outlets isn't honouring the warrenty and you would like it to be dealt with.
Ring up Proven Products and ask them one final time to replace it for free and ask for the name of the person you speak to, if he's no help ask to speak to his manager - again ask for his FULL name - if they are still no help then inform them that you'll be contacting Scorpion HQ to make a complaint, do that and let them know who you spoke to etc etc and request them to do something about it or you're going to remove the exhaust, post pictures on various car forums you are a member of pictures of the damage and the story behind the non upheld warrenty.

good plan jules ...cheers..

im worried now, that the warrenty may only cover the welds or something, large companys usually have loopholes they can use.

scorpion are arseholes for warranties, proven products are only passing on what scorpion are doing to them. If you kick off to someone high enough up thio they will sort it eventually
