Late winter this year. The snow isn't coming until late Jan early Feb.

Morzine is amazing. Make sure you get the Portes Du Soliel pass though!

Went to Les 2 Alpes a few weeks back. Was the only place in the Alps which had any snow. Even then most the place was closed and half the runs were covered in gravel

Yea, we got there really early which was annoying. Had to wait around for ages in resort. We stopped three times and didn't do the hypermarket. Hopefully they will still have some good offers on the ferry. We got 3 crates of Stella for £20 on the way there. No joke! We got a chalet becuase it was the comitte inspection trip for the Aston Snow trip. Had something like 6 crates between 6 lads. Was funny, there was a pool and a sauna so we had a bit of a party

Do you reckon that if you can skate very well and ice skate well you would be able to ski/board?

Totally different. But, if you have balance it's easy.

Haha thats not bad at all well I know we're doing the hypermarkets and we'll probably stop every half hour as everyone will be pissed and need a pee

It is easy Ollie. I would recommend giving it a go. Try to go on proper snow though, as the dry slopes are too slow.

I have only been skiing on snow 5 times, and i would say i'm confident. I struggle on blacks though. Just bought some more boots, so my feet won't hurt.

Don't worry about falling, nice soft snow and ski's set to come off easy helps!
