Or could stick with vaux and go for one of these. Only prob is boot space with the droptop

Well, it's your motor at the end of the day but seeing as you asked for opinions I'd go for something like a tidy mk4 Golf/A3 and save the rest for something nicer when insurance is a bit more realistic.

Wow. I think you go for something a bit more insurance friendly.

If you were to get that BMW and pay 2.5k for insurance you would look back in a few years time and wonder what the hell you were playing at

we use the 535d's at work. v nice i think, good for 145mph as well, prob a bit out of your range but i've not driven any of the smaller diesels.......... just my 2p's worth!!

Think its gonna be a 318i anyways. As i can now get insured for 1500
