May be a bit of a stupid question but i recently replaced my 1.2 8v corsa spi engine with a 1.4 8v spi but it seems to lack in power if you can call anything 1.4 produces power i am wandering if i have been very silly as i never replaced the e.c.u could this be the source of my woes n e input would be great cheers

Yes, get it changed Asap.

The 1200 ecu is fueling for a 1200cc engine.

Make sure the 1.4 ecu is the right type for your engine(Distributor model, or DISpak)

Thought it might be i am using the same distributor as the 1.2 but was told this is fine but i did think the e.c.u may be different cheers

Yeah the dizzy will be fine.
Just change the ecu.

I was just looking at ecus and their are 4 different options how do i know which one i want??? help me pls thats just for the c14nz engine number with delco multec system

ok i have looked at the dates and all i know is that it is one of these
ones


ASFU 90-95
AXZL 92-94
AXZM 92-94
BJSH 94-96
Could n e one help me what are the differences between these e.c.u s and which one do i need ?

Went to pease pottage today and found an ecu strange thing was it was in an l reg 1.4 flair but it was a bjsh which are only supposed to be 94-96 but hey it seems to work fine just got to take it for a run check its all good and then hopefully end of trouble
