Currently have a 1.2 16V corsa b, wanna whack in a 2 litre 16v.

First of all what would be the best engine to go for?
Secondly if i still declare it as a 1.2 in the logbook would i get any problems eg, passing mot etc?

any help would be great as i don't know who else to ask apart from you lot on ere, thanks.

do what u want mate plenty of people do it, your taking the risk not them!

the only pprobs ul get on mot is a cat, u need to prove the engine out of a non cat model, if it is a cat model it needs a cat,

as for best engine u want a c20xe redtop 2 litre, plenty kicking about on here

and you will need engine mounts and either cut away the scuttle or get a modified cap for the throttle body. also need the gearbox and virtually every ancillary off that engine

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
