And i think im in love


Unfortunatly the mint smoke grey one that i was going to buy i missed out on as work wouldnt give me the time off to go and put a deposit on it

However i went to few another one today. It is alot cheaper then the other one but it has a few faults these are:

Its pink (thats flame red for you)
few surface scratches on the arches
Drivers seat is tatty
Rust around rear wiper
high milage
one mirror is uncolour coded

On the drive it felt very smooth and didnt smoke at all. and coming from someone that learnt in a 1.0 C3 and owns a 1.2 8v it was gourgous to drive

Only thing i noticed is that the gearbox felt like it had a shorter throw and the clutch was quite stiff is this normal due to it been more powerful?


Worth at barter?its up for £950 might be able to crack a deal as i think all the faults could be fairly easily remidied with polish some paint and a new seat.

Im off to look at a sport later so i will have something to compare

how old are you?? all the faults seem pretty easily repaired, i would look at a sport though, there gonna be newer, better spec and lowere milage. GSi`s are though

I'd hold out for a minter. Engine may be sound but cosmetically it sounds like theres a bit of work needed!

Shouldnt have driven it as im love

Maybe the sport will change my mind. Just the fact that it is only cosmetic is tempting as is seemed a very clean honest car in all the other ways. Even has all of the jacking covers, Origional mats splitter and everything

the sport i can going to look at is £1600 ono with the spec as follows:
2000 W
Manual, 54,000 miles, Black. Air conditioning, Alarm, Alloy wheels, Body coloured bumpers, Central locking, Drivers airbag. £1,600. ONO

Dont really know what sports are worth any guidance?

theres a really overpriced brocade yellow one in the dealers up the road, i may pretend to be interested and blag a drive
