i have manged to get myself a '97 corsa breeze, high milage but im nt fussed its my first car, also ive manged to get a 'type R' gear knob which is suitable for 'lift-up reverse' but i cannot get the standard gear-knob off any ideas, ive tried turning it,pulling it ive even lifted the top off (were it shows the gears etc) and there is nothing under there any help would be appreaciated

shoudl me in mods section, but quickly jsut heat it with a haridyer to soften the glue then twist it off
