this applies to the road angel compact AND the new road angel

do they when approaching a speed camera flash between the speed your doing AND the speed you shud be doing?

need to know this as its pointless having one if i dont know what speed i shud be doing when approaching a camera

r-a plus is £300

i phoned them today but who i got on the other end wasnt as clear as i would have liked for a rep of what they sell

i have £200 to spend, the new r-a and the r-a compact come into this category

pay attention to the signs on the road

or just slow down to 30 everytime you see a camera

get a tomtom 1

they do all that a road angel does, shows the speed for the road and warns of cameras etc... for £200

since getting my tomtom I have sold my road angel

the road angel + is now 199.99 for ltd time only, it flashes red if u are speeding and there is a camera near by, then goes bk 2 been blue screen

tom tom one doesnt do laser,

but i didnt know it show'd you the speed you shud be doing

the road angel laser is crap anyway.

it will have picked up the camera site long before you are targeted with a laser and by that time you will have slowed down.

the laser only picks up once you are being targeted so if you are going too fast you will have been caught by the time you get the warning.

I got Tom Tom 1 this afternoon for £160

I gather the speed camera locations/speed limits are a download for a few extra £££

One thing I will say is this:-

I spent more time looking at the fcuking thing than the road ahead in the dark and when its raining thats never a good thing

i thought there was a "special shop" which you could downloads these maps and camera locations

Adam you have seen what I have on my tomtom... full cameras, with speed, including all portable laser hotspots...
