Having the blue badge doesnt make it any less dangerous to park on a junction!!

Discuss.

i work for the social work and give these out everyday.

a blue parking badge only entitles you to park anywhere that it is safe to do so and does not cause congestion/distraction/disruption to other road users.

As some have posted here, it does make a difference for a disabled person parking nearer to a shop or some place they are going to. This is fine.

BUT what is not acceptable is them parking ANYWHERE they feel like just because they have a disabled badge. Now this is unfair to other road users. They can park (as above) anywhere which IS SAFE for everybody.

Robin, if I understand correctly, your point is nobody is above the law

This is the point I was trying to make Robin.

The junction opposite my shop has these on the kerb. A single line running vertical up the kerb.

If someone is disabled then why not ffs. As if it aint hard for them in the first place never mind having to wheel them selves half a mile across town to get back to the shop.

These cunts who take the piss by using there mates dads pass deserve a £1000 on the spot fine . There should be a name on the pass. If the named person isnt there then they should get a fine.

its supposed to be the person has to be there. and the disabled person cant wait in the car either. they have to be the ones getting out.

also u can get them for lots of things, not just being unable to walk well.
