flocking is the finish on the dash of wrc cars, kinda like a velvet feel and look to it. it removes glare on the window frm the dash

It involves using electrostatic charge to load up a surface with plastic fibres that look like a couple of day's regrowth.

Not sure if they're fixed on with glue or if they're heated to melt them onto the dash etc though.

the dash is glued then the dash is given a neg charge i think and the flocks maybe a positive and that makes the flock stand up on its end.

(dont quote me on that)

i cant find anyone to do it in northern ireland...

Can anyone reccomend somewhere very good on the mainland??

i want a big company with top of the line facilities that can give me a proper quarantee, dont like the idea of having to remove my dash again to get it redone...
