Well i must say this happened on sat but I will post my experience
While leaving a local golf club in Huyton I proceeded to have a Golf Mk 5 GTI sitting on my rear bumper in a 40 mph
After some hand gestures from him he over took me on in a residential area (wanker)
Anyway approached roundabout for motorway at M62 in huyton - sat at the lights he again started to make gestures in his rear view mirror
So ESP off and await the race
he started ahead pulled onto two lane slip road and we were off. Caught up to him and was along side joining M62 at about 110 mph (yes not clever but he did piss me off)
Pulled past very slowly at which point I was at 135 (not lying and proceeded to pull over before it became stupid)
So to sum up those Mk5's are very quick for 200 BHP and only struggel above 100 mph
Needless to say he wasn;t impressed
Just thought i would share my experience of them

how strange, i had one up my arse other day, slowed down to fuck him off and then he went past, was 55reg and said gti turbo on it, stayed up his arse til i reached my road, was fast. Found out now its this local formula 3 driver called edwin jowsey

they aren't that fast though. I was at a set of traffic lights with one, i stayed level with it until i got to a roundabout where i raped him, the straight is nearly a 1/4 mile, i think we touched 90mph when he hit the brakes.

it's an open dual carriage way. don't tell me you never speed???? I'm all up for driving sensibly through residential areas / town centres, but come of it, this is an open dual carriage way which is a 60 limit anyway.

I feel there's a slight difference when you're doing 90 though..

When your car is fast tho it's not as big a deal doing 90mph because it get there so easily.
In a 1.4 corsa i'm sure 90mph is a big deal as it take half a century to get there.
I got pulled by the police the other day doing 70mph in a 30mph. Everyone can suck my balls

Yeah i sort of know what you mean dude.. but i dont know.. i just dont have time for people who feel its okay to do those kind of speeds in residential areas..

well in my ibiza i think i got upto 110mph on the same stretch of road, and after the roundabout i could get up to 135mph before slowing down for a left hooker.

neither do i mate, residential areas etc, but the road was dead and the only reason there is a roundabout there is because of a vineyard!!!
i wouldn't do those sorts of speed in a built up area or if there were a lot of cars around.

Nah, he thanked me for not dusting him, as it was a residential estate and he was about 1/4mile behind me and i really could've.
He said he couldn't get me in sight to record it 
He said he should've been doing me for dangerous driving
I can't help it

seems mad but a copper did pull me over a year or so back saying the same thing basically, he said he had to do 95mph to catch up with me, which i explained to him that was very dangerous as it was through a high street, i thought he was gonna hit me!!!!!! Didn't have any evidence though and was on his own so i got let off, never speeded through towns since.
