i usually jog for 5mins to warm up, stretch my muscles before carrying on, bring a bottle of water too. take sips, not gulps.
if you dont have enough stamina to run long distances do sections walkin and then back to runnin again then bk to walkin ..

Wrapping up in a plastic bag just makes u sweat more and lose water, but if your drinking throughout the run and after its soon back in. To lose your stomach quickly interval training is best at high intensity, or high intensity cardio keeping your heart rate between 60-70% of your max heart rate.

Max heart rate = 220 bpm (beats per minute) - your age

Take 60% of this value and 70% of this value and get a heart rate monitor get your HR up and maintain it for at least 30 mins, do this 3 times a wk and your stomach will go because your utilising fat as an energy source.

Also combine with good abdominal workout something like

3sets x 30 swiss ball
3 x 30 half sit
3x 30 oblique twists
3x 30 reverse crunch..

yeah wrapping up in bags extra is only good for quick weight loss, e.g getting weight down for a fight ect.
