car is fucking up again

Need to buy an air flow sensor

For time being can i unplug it, it idles fine without it but didn't want to try driving it without it

it will run like shit, will show up as a fault, EML on etc

u sure because eml doesn't flash up when it's idleing without it plugged in :S

I've just done a conversion and we didnt have the AFS in the intake pipe, need to source one! Anyway, havent plugged it in obviously, but it runs fine, idles ok. EML light comes on after about a minute though, altho doesnt effect performance that i can tell?!

I haven't got mine in got it wired to some sort of module chip dont think it does fuck all though

disconnected it all yesterday and today. Car's still running shit but its a majr improvement

Hmmm a module chip.sounds like one of those shitty gain 20 bhp chips from ebay.Plug the air flow sensor back in normally then take the positive battery terminal off for an hour and reset the ecu.Reconnect the batt terminal and start it up and see what happens after a few minutes.

Mine ran without the afm plugged in for months.

infact, dont think i bothered plugging it back in when i sold the car
