had some wiring done on my car im asking before i take it back
my hazards only work with ignition on
buuut when i lock car with alarm they flash....
before i look like a pleb is there a fuse for hazards or could it be the ground?
my mfd comes on with head lights as well which it never did before i took it to them
it is a qualified place and do have all recipts for the wiring i had done

If you've had an alarm fitted, then technically the bits on the car should function the same as when you gave it to them.
I'd go back and question them!

can only take once got mot.....
hazards only work with ignition so im screwed
but the garage its going to sends there cars to where i got wiring done so if i explained would they take it to them?

sounds like they fucked with the constant positive source on the ignition to hazards(behind fuse box).take it back and kick off!! ho ho ho

they said something about that when they rewired ecu so have they wired it wrong then

definately a constant source problem as it should work with ign on or off.They may have cut a wire and not connected it back together on the hazard switch side.Probably as simple as using the hazard feed to make the indicators flash when alarm is armed/unarmed.i would have taken the feed from the indicator stalk myself.

Take the fucker back and if they give you shit then tell them to prove it was broken before they did the wiring.If you have the reciepts then tell them to undo the wiring and ask for your money back.The will fix it for sure!

matty u know if its mot failure if they only work on igntion? if not then can get mot done then get it straight down and i will just drop it off and tell them to sort it

Sure it will fail mate as it is,think you get 7 days to retest if it fails though so give it a go and tell them to sort it out asap.However thinking about it the mot stations normally leave the engine running whilst testing the car so the engine is at operating temp before they test ommisions etc.Take it for the mot and dont say anything.you could be lucky mate.Let us know.

will do there actually getting it running right before mot ing it as it stall etc so they will be doing a bit of work on it first so dont know weather to be totally honest with them as might affect what its doing now you see

ringing them tomorow
for 36 pound an hour i expect a good job not a butcher doing it so gonna take it down and make them fix it free of charge say its been pre motd and tell them the garage failed it etc
