After watching the original italian job last night, i started thinking..

the stunt where they drive the mini's into the back of the coach while moving, how is this done?

surely with both vehicles doing say 60-70mph, and the mini's driving wheels hitting the ramp, would the car not then rocket off up the ramp at 60-70mph?

i'm confused

When the car's well onto the ramp, clutch in and let it coast up, then hit the brakes

I'd have thought flat out on 5th the car would start wheelspinning then stall unless he put the clutch in when he contacted the ramp or something

If it does stall then get back on the road and bump it again

get enough momentum behind the car, dip te clutch just as it goes up, car will go up itself. not enough, it will roll back
