Just been to my local tesco's and spotted 2 nice bmw's, i think one might have been an M3, they had about 4 (ill be polite and call them) 'asian's' standing around the cars. thought they were just chatting and thought nothing of it. Untill i noticed one of them screwing a numberplate onto the M3. they could have just been putting new plates on or w/e. i came back out of tesco's and saw them doing it to the other beemer, obviously it looked dodjy now.
i managed to get one of the reg plates wrote down, came home and ran it through the rac reg check site.
and guess what, the plates dont exist, w*nkers!
does this not piss you off?

how do i go about reporting the cars about them having fake plates??

You should have phoned the Police while they were doing it. A 999 call might have even been appropriate. But phone the Police about it now!

i really should have phoned them whilst they were their, but by the time they would have arrived they would have gone, ill see it again, no doubt with a different reg plate, he is lives around burnley and iv seen the car alot.

Did they see you looking? Was there loads of people around? If they're the type of people to do this, they are the type of people to trash your car or you if they find out who shopped them!? Also, Tesco carpark may have CCTV

just reported it to the cop shop, she didnt really sound bothered about what i was telling her, im pretty sure the blue beemer was an M3 but she didnt even ask what model the cars were. she just said she will pass the info on.

yeas the asian from the blue one glanced at me as i drove past him, not loads of people around, my cars in different colours at the moment and its getting re-sprayed this weekend so i doubt they will realise who i am again.

Handy that is - police are gay like that.

When we bought my girlfriends car from a garage, we only got 1 key. We said about the 2 others you should have with Fiestas (another black and 1 red master) and the guy said we'll have to contact the previous owners. We happened to know who they are, wrote a letter etc and heard nothing so we told the police saying that if the car is stolen but there is no evidence of smashed glass, we have a prime suspect, the previous owner. Did they care? Did they fuck. (Althought it is supposedly on record!)

Lets just hope they catch the bastards before they go getting points for other people.

I work in a petrol station on the weekends, and I had someone come in and fill up with 60 quids worth of fuel and drive off. We took the plates down and reported it to the police, and it turned out the plates had been stolen from a ladys car just down the road from me!

They'll probably be doing drive offs in them. TBF there isn't a lot the Police can do with the info that long after it happened other than keep it and bear it in mind if any offences come to light.
