Not really, I'm no good at making "wallpaper" as it's known

Got mates who are much better, see if I can find some examples...

Cosmo, they're hand sketched and scanned. The coloured in ones are done with markers.

ah right, I wasnt sure if that was the case!

Nice work though, I wish I'd have gone down that route as fairly good at drawing. Getting a tablet for xmas but not intending to be as good as that

I have a tablet, don't use it though. Could never get what I drew on the tablet to correlate with what appeared on screen

yeah, got a feeling thats going to be the case, Getting a good price on a Wacon Intuos3 so thought I may aswell go for it...even if they turn out half as good it'll do me and what I need!

Id be happy for some half decent drawings out of it...will take a while to get used to it but sure it'll be OK.

i won one on ebay then found out could buy one new for that price £180 lol

from mycomputerbits.co.uk, get a load of money off as Im at Uni (look in Educational hardware section), costing £163 for the A5 tablet with pen and mouse. May go for the A5 Wide though for £220.

You might struggle with A5... most people have A4s or even A3s (though they cost more than Eckmcmann's mother)

Yeah, Im just getting one that size to try it out, see if I like it and can work with it. If I can I wouldnt mind getting a much bigger one, or one of these beasts

is a lot of that marker render above photoshoped?

A5 is far too small. Have to use an A3 really for most drawings - which is expensive

Yeah I know, but its mainly to get a feel for it and see if its any good for me, then will upgrade to a much larger one
