A local bodyshop had a go at spraying a set of standard rear lights for me with a thin coat of paint the same colour as my bodywork. Just an experiment tbh, didn't turn out bad, only a subtle improvement though.

I went to fit them at 12:30, now an hour and a half later the driver's side is done and it starts pissing down outside..

Got more pics in here mate:

Yeh. The drivers side and passenger side look quite different.

Only one side is done

Haha, it took me 10 minutes to change the passenger side one just now. Not sure if the 3dr lights are a similar fit, but there's a bolt right at the top of the light which is such a bastard to get to! I kept dropping both the spanner and the bolts last time..

Both are done now, pics are crap and the car is filthy but I'm pleased with the lights.

Not a fan i'm afraid, would have been much better to get a tin of red tint spray and do the yellow bits and white bits same as the rest of the cluster

i like them dom! how much it cost u for them? might get mine done, altho mine might not look the same as my bumpers aren't colour coded ( the pre 97 irmy ones have the black bit at bottom )

edit* yes that top bolt is a right bastard!

The bodyshop said they wouldn't mind giving it a go for free because they've not done it before and didn't know how it'd turn out.. ( after I spent £500 on getting loads of work done )

The bumper you've got is soo nice.. I think perhaps the tinted lights going on eBay every now and then would be nice.
