OK, the other day was driving along my road when i heard a loud thump and the gear stick has stuck in third gear, so we towed it home and found that the rear engine mounting had snapped off and pulled the linkage down. So i ordered a new one and new bolts came to fit it and discovered that the thread had been knackered and stripped bare on one of the holes. Is there a way round this without buying a tap and die and re-threading the hole? Thanks
