just had a quote on having my front and rear seats trimed in leather/black with blue inserts and white piping

£800 including taking out and refitting + headrests

is this a good price?the trimmers have a very good rep and i personally would use them

Dont do piping will ook tacky just have a tastefull plain retrim in black will look sweet as then

Dont go with piping as said above, it really looks dated, if you wanted to bring some white into the look then maybe go for some white stitching like what i used to have down the sides of mine!


and thats a good price if the work is good!
But seriously think about the doorcards as it will make a big difference, however once you do one thing you will just wanna do the lot and you'll end up with a 3k retrim

I've just ordered a load of black alcantara to do my door cards, as I have a pair of sparco recliners trimmed in black alcantara! Not sure how much trimmers will charge to do my door cards, but they look fairly easy to do so im gona give it a go!

i thought the blue and black would need some more colour to it...i like the white stitch that looks lush! tell me you didnt spend 3k thats more than my car is worth i see what you mean though
