172 mk2 like the one in this post go for around 6k - 8k for decent examples dependant on the model i.e cup, and the age/mileage
the 182 is around 7.5k - 10k or more for a trophy
the megane 225 is around 10k, and upto 16k for the 225 f1 cup

i am impressed with the car, seems really nice, only driven it round the farm but seems nice, any think we need to look out for??? maintinance wise?
i was supprised that the cup ones seem to be cheaper than normal ones!!!! well thats wot parkers showed!!
also pretty sad that the 182 is 0.1 sec faster to 60 than the 172!!!
i wish i had not told brother about it, hehe!
would have made nice little car for myself, need to sell the vx sometime!! will still have the faster car then him for few more months then i am going back to a bangor for year of so! will let him have glory of having faster car then, hehehe

IAZ - erm theres a few common faults
exhausts are crap, mines had 3 in its 3 year life, so ive upgraded to a nice full stainless system now
engine mounts arent all that good, they will jump out of gear when they start to go, k-tec sell uprated ones
they knock on full lock, its the angle of the damper bolt catching on the upright
gearboxes if abused can be a pain
if there looked after, like any hot hatch and checked and maintained correctly you wont have any problems
as for civic type r's and leon cupra r's you wont have any problems
the 172 also handles amazingly, itg panel air filter and stainless system help it breathe hell of a lot better

i've not had any issues with an s2 elise, s1's are poorer build quality.
either way, they need a lot of tlc!!!
