Nope didfferent cars do different things , all watches just tell the time , unless you have that ultimate casio watch that changed tv channels and turned the volume up

All cars drive though
Watches have different engines and bodywork from each other exactly the same as cars.
Do you know of a car that flies or something?

yes but car's vary a lot more, you can't get a watch with a faster 0-60 time 
or leather heated seats, sat nav, power steering, impact protection, cd player, or built in torches

But you can get watches with every component different from another watch and that look totally different, different straps etc.
If you follow the logic of all watches doing the same thing then all cars also do the same thing.

Behave, you are argueing for the sake of it and you know it!
The only thing a watch can do realistically is vary aesthetically.(or tell you how deep you are etc, but thats hardly useful) a car is totally different and you know it, if all cars came a set spec (say they were like trams, all on the same line) but you could change the outsides then i'd agree, but they dont.

I'm not arguing for the sake of it.
How does nobody get my point?
Cars drive from one place to another.
That's all they do to varying degrees.
I am just following the logic of all cars being different.
All watches tell the time yes, but they have varying degrees of mechanics just like a car.
The end result of a car, no matter what seats or engine is it drives, the end result of a watch, no matter what movement or strap is it tells the time.

The thing is, no matter what movement or strap etc it tells the time THE SAME. (for arguements sake obviusly some are more accurate, and hold the time better, but what is the time anyway, no body actually knows so its all gravy)
Thats the arguement. I can see your side and i fundementally agree, but life isn't so black and white. Pay more for a better car and you get a better spec which has an impact on your everyday life 1000x more than a watch.

i get your point, but your point could be said about anything- clothces, houses, material posessions.
Its a matter of people and their principals about comfort and enjoyment
Nath has the ability to run a s2000 and enjoys doing so. Whereas if someone has £400+ to spend on a watch, let them enjoy it.

I know, all i was saying as the same logic has to be applied to both things, not one logic for one and an other for the other.
I like both cars and watches and enjoy both.

I'd prefere a nice car more than a nice watch
I know what they're saying john. They're saying a Car has more use, a car brings you fun, it reflects who you are, allows you to drive places, allows you to compete in things etc etc etc..
A watch, essentially tells you time, yes it's a fashion accessory. But it's use is limited.
It's the equivalent of having nice shoes.
either way, I'd always prefere a nicer car. Shame is people don't offer me like 65% off discounts on the cars I want

I would always spend money on a good watch love them. Currently have 3 on the go including a Tag. Going for an Omega next, had a Brietling once too, super watches

Nice but its a watch the same as my Animal one i bought 12 years ago, not gone wrong nor have i seen anyone else with one.
And it cost me £35
