Parked up in my old works carpark about half mile from work yesterday and got a call couple of hours later saying that the fire brigade was going to have to smash window if I didnt get there quick as there as a big fire underground and my car was in way
I raced there and moved it back, and then had to wait 1 and half hours while they finished. took couple pics, these were after i moved it, before it was where blanket is.

Must have been quite bad as there was 5 fire engine and couple of vans.
Just glad i had my mobile with me and my mates saw car and firemen when they did

If they had had to smash it, would they have paid for replacement?

I very much doubt it as it was left on the corner and not in a spot so was causing a bit of an obstruction

You were lucky......if you're blocking any throughput and/or source of water, the fire service are allowed to do whatever necessary to remove the obstruction, as the owner of this car found out...
