just changing the engine in my mates 1400 sport, it has aircon but its getting changed to a gsi engine, he doesnt want the aircon anymore,
what will i do with the pipes and stuff? cut the pipe coming thru the bulkhead and plug it? or what?

get it drained, then undo the allen bolt on the connector on the bulkhead. stick a bit of duck tape over the bit left on the bulkhead. remove the pipes when the engine is out, as well as the aircon rad. job done.
don't cut the pipes with the system filled, as it WILL take your skin off.

ah, then just undo the bulkhead fitting, its just a push connection basically.
you might have to cut one of the soft pipes, IIRC, you can't get the pipe out with the engine in, and you can't get the engine out with the pipe in.
Hacksaw does it though
