Firstly it was for my front number plate which is slightly smaller than standard, fair enough was happy to pay it.

Sent off the form on the 07 of november leaveing 10 days and 8 of them working before the dealine, just got a letter through saying payment declined as it wasnt sent in time. luckilyi have the recorded delivery slip as proof of when it was posted.

Im just worried about arguing it incase i get points or anything

No, it says the fine increases by 50%.

Your payment was made after the expiry period, i must return your payment and inform you this matter will be registered with your local magistrates court and the penalty will increase by 50%.

Is what the letter says.

Penatly was originally 30pound fine.

well if you have proof that u posted it b4 that date allowing 8 working days then a dont think they will have a leg to stand on so to speak

I got a parking ticket today because I was parked on the road, couldn't get in my car park because of a wagon blocking it doing road works. Opened the bag stuck to the windscreen and the ticket was for a red 55 plate Volvo. Bizarre.

i have had this too, got the point where i actually was on my way to post the cheque, i had never bothered reading the ticket, when i noticed it wasnt for my car

Just realized i sent it to the wrong place who then must of forwarded it to the central ticket office, which means i missed the deadline.

Will i just have the option to pay the fine pls 50% or do i face points now

i got pulled tonight, I didnt realise my front plate had fallen off and my rear was too small. he said he would let me sort this out. he sed he would fine me for tints but didnt have machine with him. thank fuk for that

you can't have your licence endorsed for a non endorsable offence because you haven't paid the fine.......

when a court appearance is offered, go, take the postage slip and you'll be fine!
