Affiliate programs
Has anybody tried to make money of these..
I have a 79 page document that I got given about how to work it/what are good sites and business's to use etc etc. ANd how to make some money out of them.
I am sceptical about it though..
Nothing to loose by trying it though...won't cost me anything, just wondered if anybody else had tried it before.

yes.
My old bands website, we added links to amazon.co.uk, for specific cds we each wanted to buy, then made money back by using the link.
If you could set up a website with reviews, and a link to somewhere, you could make a lot of cash
like you say, easy money really.

This document goes quite indepth and tells you about getting hoplinks set up and bank accounts and then also if you wish buying hotwords from Google etc to get you hoplink at the top of search pages etc...
Then you get percentage of what is bought throgh your link...
Might take a while to set a few sites up etc...
One bank site gives you hundreds of companies and sites you can create hoplinks with...

Studying them at uni at the moment in my Ecommerce unit, Amazon's is good and VERY easy to set up but you would need to put a lot of business their way to see a profit thats worth it, think they give you around 4% on anything you sell......

thats right James, its useful for getting cheaper CDs for yourself though, you buy through your own link, and save the 4%
give it a go mav, you seem to have a fair bit of time to do stuff while you're at work, you might as well try to make some money out of it.

www.clickbank.co.uk
go into market place at top.
There is loads of different sites selling all sorts..
But once you have a hoplink set you then have to get keywords sorted and enetered in a PPC site (pay per click) to get them to come up high in a search..Unless you have your own site with alot of traffic going through it.

I think on Sunday when I am off going to spend some time and try and set up some hoplinks and get hot search words set and try it...
You can set as many affiliate's as you like..Hoplinks a plenty..But the game is getting it out there in a search so ppl click on it and buy....

I think it may cost you very little to bid on the search words you want to use to get your hoplink to come up on a search..Reading the doc about 30 cents..
I have to read the whole thing only 1/2 way though
There is sites that gives you all the keywords you should use by typing in 1 word..
