standard airbox on the corsa

did have a k&N Apollo enclosed thingy on xe nova, that was ok

Where did you get the panel filter mate? I'm looking to do same setup.

ive got a bmc with a brilliant cold air feed, lol,
not as loud as when i had the cone filter but dont have any flat spots with this

I don't know about the price, but I can say you that is a logical thing. How much more cold the air, more gains on hp. K&N filters dumped inside the engine bay are a waste of money, because the gains are very small.

Some people prefer the panel filter, because it's possible to install on the original box, wich is a logical thing, but the original box don't have much capacity nor have a good air intake. So holes must be made.

I believe the most important is the air intake, must be direct and large. And the airbox is better because can acumulate air at high speeds, like a "ram" system.

I have a Pipercross on the 1.2 8v. Makes it beat Subaru Imprezas and stuff. I rate it.
