Right ive now had quite a few cars (two years driving). Corsa sport, 106 gti, 'C' 1.8 Sri, Ibiza cupra... now ive got another gti.

Very happy with it, totally standard on W plate with 30K miles (paid 3300). Anyways.. just looking for some advice:

I want to lower it to improve the handling, thinking -50mm? How much should i expect to pay roughly (don't want to get ripped off). Thanks in advance, John

Depends what you after lowering wise, just springs or a whole kit!!!

It will probably be cheaper to purchase a good quality kit 2nd hand and pay someone to fit it than going to a special garage

Springs, peugeots have torsion bars at the back. Spring kits are about 60 i think. Just looking for advice

go to pug performance, fitted for 140 quid and lower the torsion beam.
