I have seen them live and honestly i can say they are one of the best bands ive ever seen live.
Covered smashing pumpkins and radiohead which takes guts, and their onstage show was simply the best ive EVEr seen, and ive seen alot.
Can 2nd this.
Also seen MCR live and they were amazing too.
Wasn't impressed by Fall out boy though who were more concerned with how high they could jump witha guitar strapped to their back.
leeds or reading? i though fall out boy were excellent and put on a great show, especially the rubbish fight!
but panic! were good, it took guts for em to get up in front of such a big crowd at leeds after what happened at reading

I think they're alright tbh, they recorded their album before ever playing live which takes some guts imo.

Please GTF!
MCR were around before the phrase "emo" (which I think is a huge insult btw) became the 'in' word to use.
As I have said before, go and listen to a track called "Cancer" from MCR's new album and tell me the lyrics aren't amazing and heartfelt.
I would rather listen to that type of music any day of the week compared to some samey, sampled, rehashed dance track or some rap track where all it seems there is to worry about is how much money they have and who to kill next.

Well said Jules. I think MCR are awesome, along with other bands people call Mosh/Emo etc etc like Brand New, Senses Fail and many more. These people are singing about real things, they aren't talking about shooting each other like most "rappers" these days
