hey guys, just putting some pics up on the latest on the rally shell. My mate came round on friday night to spray the inside of the shell white after i had masked up the cage - which was a nightmare!, fitted the rear axle, fuel tank - after re-fitting the brackets that had been removed by the guy who had the shell before me. im also replacing the standard bushes with uprated ones (polybushes). think thats about it really for now.

not to sure yet in the long run, but this all depends on what engine i put in it. i want to put a 1600 16v in it, but that would mean the competition would be alot harder, with 106 cup cars, escort mk2 etc all falling into the same class. there is a nice little championship for upto 1400 engines, so i might swap it for a 1400 16v instead!!

unfortunately not no! the engine (which ever one it ends up being) will probably have to go in near enuff standard to begin with, with only a Dbilas manifold on it that i used to run on the engine when it was in my road car, as i wont be able to afford to do anything to it!!

stick a 1.4 in it and use it for enduro rallies, unless you have some major pocket and can afford stage rallying

wel it is stage rallying that is the plan, the 1400 championship is the BTRDA forest championship..................but still no major pocket here...........so alot of saving will have to be done! the co-driver does share some of the costs tho, entry fee etc
