Alritey folks anyone ever had any experience with these.

Looking at one quite local to me... 1.8 20v with 100k miles, full leather, Full VAG history etc... on a V reg..

Ive haggled it down to 2k but just not sure what there like, never looked into seats much..

Plans would be to garage it over the winter, get coilovers, 18's etc...

Just seams like a lot of car for the money... v tempted..

They did the 1.8 20v too, has 125ps. They then added the turbo due to the engine not meeting emissions, bringing the power to 150ps/147bhp

Dont touch it.

Friend of mine bought one, had no end of problems with it.

I'd get a 20vt one. i know this one is cheap but you could get a mk1 leon cupra quite cheap.

20v non turbo in a toledo would be so slow, a leon has much more potential, you could get cupra R bumpers, get it remapped, it will run a KO3s turbo which is 180bhp standard, would remap to around 220-230bhp, and much better looking imo.

I did my skid pan training in one. Engine sounds interesting...

The 1.8 20v aren't that bad, the turbo is acres better though if you can afford it.
