I Have a friend who cant pass his driving test he's been learning in a diesal corsa and hates it and cant drive it for toffe! His been driving his uncles Astra 2.0 Tdi and hes a really good driver when hes drivin that car so ive suggested that he takes his test in that next time but wats the crack coz theres no dual controls?

You don't need dual controls for the test, you just need to have a mirror for the examiner. It's assumed that when you take your test you can actually drive and don't need dual controls.

doesnt matter. you can take the test in any car as long as its insured, my first test was done in my parents astra

i provided one but i think they had some at the test centre, dont know if all test centres will have spare mirors though so might be best to take your own

You are meant to provide one. They are cheap as. I got mine off of a friend, but it's worth buying one to be safe...
