I'm 'trying' to buy a Red Leathet Jacker on ebay. I want to email the seller, tried to log on my mum's account. She has forgotten her password, so clicked on 'forgot password'

Its asking for the answer to a 'secret question'. The question is 'what is the name of your pet' we've never had a bloody pet so there's no way she would have answered this when she opened her account. It won't send us the password till we answer the question, but we can't answer the question cos we don't know the answer HELPPPPPPPP how can we get the password ?!!!!

There is like a forum you can go on live support or something like that. You wait until a member of ebay staff is available then you talk to them in a chat room, they access your account and ask you some security questions like past sales and purchases...i used it when some fucker hacked my account and changed all my details

Thank I'll go take a look I hope nobody's hacked ours, there's no way mum would have chosen that as a secret question

Just looked its called live help,
go to secutity centre, then go to Securing Your Account and Reporting Account Theft, then contact us, then click on live help and it well open a window and take you to it...simple as that...
