What does everyone think of this idea? Im wanting to sell the corsa and put a LET into a manta.
Anyone seen it done before? Iv only ever seen xe Mantas.
Could be a cool and very fun project i think

There was an LET i200 replica in TV about a year ago.

i thought the reason many people havent done this is something to do with the rear diff not handling the power/torque

Or did i hear wrong?

easily sorted though, the rear end is interchangeable with most RWD cars.

standard one would explode.

Hmmm so could be a difficult project to pull off? Maybe better putting a xe then throttle bodies or bike carbs?

wouldnt be hard.

the rear axle is the weak point, but if you go an a manta forum, they'll tell you what to replace it with.

and the bulkhead would need 'adjusting' to clear the dizzy.

Their is a crazy LET manta, cant find pics of it the now though!

most XE's have t run dizzyless ignition with a dis-pack as robin says! so may cause trouble with a LET unless u want to run custom management with a distributor pack?!?!
